THE SHERIFF’S SHOOTOUT

The second annual Sheriff’s Shootout is back! October 18th at High Noon outlaws and lawmen will take the starting line for a race to see who’s the best of the west.

Runners will complete a one mile course as many times as possible throughout the 6 or 12 hour race. The Shootout course pulls no punches with steep climbs, bone-shaking descents, and rough footing. Spectacular views of Mesa Verde and Sleeping Ute Mountain can be had from the high points, and a well-equipped aid station can be visited after every lap.

This year The Sherrif has updated the Shootout to include a team race! Teams of two can compete in the six hour race, and teams of four can endure the 12 hour race.

There’s ample space for camping and spectating along the course and at the aid station, and once the sun goes down the bonfire goes up! Don’t get too close!

One way or another, guns will be fired at High Noon- October 18th.

“You gonna do something, or just stand there and bleed?”
