The Best Rest in the Southwest

  • “What a gem! I am on a lengthy road trip (several months) and this was the perfect soft landing. The hosts are incredibly responsive, gracious and warm. The vibe of the hostel is chic, comfortable, relaxed and modern — all at the same time. You can do your own thing or mix and mingle. The bathrooms/showers were excellent! I slept so comfortably and cannot say enough good things about the environment from the lounge areas, kitchen, amenities, location and hosts! A must stay if you’re in the Dolores area!”

  • I was on a group ride and stayed here. Our entire group was blown away by the experience. Jake and Hannah were amazing hosts. The bunks were so comfortable I slept a full 8 hours that night. The bathrooms and showers were NICE. Great kitchen. Great spots to relax. I absolutely recommend DBH!

  • Awesome place in an awesome town. The hosts are so kind, and as knowledgeable as can be on all things biking and adventuring in the Colorado and Utah mountains. The hostel itself is squeaky clean, warm and homey, and very thoughtfully designed. Strongly recommend staying here or stopping by!!

  • This place is amazing and definitely not just just for cyclists. The place has a hip, Southwest by Scandinavian decor. Lots of cool art along with maps and adventure books to inspire your next journey. We stayed in the Suite room which was perfect for our family. The cereal bar was the highlight of the trip for our growing 10 year old. There’s a lovely Sauna!! Finally, the proprietor is super cool and helpful. Definitely a unique and lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.

Johnny Delaware

Sunday, July 27th

15$ Tickets

Music @8pm

With a sound rooted in a Laurel Canyon-meets-Southwest-American vibe, Delaware’s latest, Para Llevar, which, fittingly, translates to “to go,” continues to sound familiar yet escape an easy genre pigeonhole. Even Delaware has a difficult describing to others exactly what his music is, though he strives to write songs that have good choruses and can be played not only in an acoustic setting but with a full band.

- The Big Takeover

With Alex Dunn

Alex Dunn uses his own personal blend of Folk/Americana to reflect on the many lives he's led, from his youth along the border of Colorado and Wyoming to the quiet moments aboard commercial fishing vessels in the remote waters of Southeast Alaska, where he spent over a decade toiling on the sea and writing songs during his down time.  Melodic sawdust and salt air, his music breathes with a sense of place, yet is imminently accessible and speaks to the universal.

The Mojobirds & Forest Thump

The Mojo Birds are a funky flock.  Roots Rock Music- Inspired by the likes of The Band, a touch of Al Green, and a healthy dose of Afro-Peruvian Mojo!

Forest Thump is a guaranteed good time! A bass-heavy DJ paired with an electric violin? The dance floor is going to be smokin’!

Saturday, October 11th
